Do you have a specific philosophy you live by when hosting?
A:
I learned from my grandmother that anything can be beautiful if you take the time. My new book Entertaining Beautifully has my secrets, tips and ideas for entertaining at home. Whether it’s a cup of tea for yourself or a more formal gathering of family and friends, every occasion can be special in its own way.

Any party tricks you swear by?
A:
The most important entertaining tip is to relax and enjoy. Even as a host, it’s important to have a good time. Guests will always follow your lead.

What would be your ideal meal to serve with Super Tuscan?
A:
A Tuscan steak with roasted potatoes and fresh seasonal vegetables.

Why is setting the table so important to you?
A:
Your table truly sets the mood for how you want to entertain, whether it is more of a casual or formal setting. Adding an element of surprise to your table is always fun for you and your guests. Whether it is a pop of color in the flowers or a beautiful print on the tablecloth, there are so many ways to explore and get creative.
